“Game Of Thrones” met the hood in a “SNL” spoof. Set in the mythic violent village of “South Centros,” rapper Ice Cube’s house is at war with the Lannisters. See video of the “Game of Thrones” parody on “SNL” below.
In the spoof, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays “Game Of Thrones” character Jaime Lannister, is seen riding a horse, threatening Ice Cube, who brandishes a gun and asks, “What are they gonna do to me?” Keeping with the “South Centros” theme, a character says, “We’re killing ourselves for hightop sandals.” And there are lots of murders in the spoof.
After Ice Cube’s character is killed, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is seen saying, “Don’t hate the slayers, hate the game!” Leslie Jones, dressed in medieval garb, adds, “Lannisters represent!” The real “Game Of Thrones” has is fifth season premiere on Sunday.
