Madonna surprised Drake on Sunday night at Coachella when she began to unexpectedly make out with him. A visibly shocked Drake even exclaimed, “What the f*ck just happened?” See the video below.
To the crowd’s delight, Drake had his surprise guest, Madonna, join him onstage for his song titled, “Madonna.” After the two finished singing, Drake gave the stage up to Madonna, who sang parts of her songs “Human Nature” and “Hung Up.” At the end of “Human Nature,” Madonna strutted up to Drake, who was seated, and began making out with him from behind. The session was perhaps a bit too much for Drake, based on his facial expression afterwards.
Madonna then walked off the stage, muttering “I’m Madonna, b*tch,” which was followed by Drake being heard saying, “Holy sh*t! What the f*ck just happened?”
A lot of fans on the Internet had the same question, with some expressing their annoyance with Madonna. “That was uncalled for @Madonna,” tweeted one, while another wrote, “Drake didn’t deserve that humiliation. @Madonna” Meanwhile, she had plenty of supporters, too, including one fan who tweeted, “Madonna wins again.” For the most part, there were lots of jokes about how Drake reacted, as well as their age difference.
