'Chicago Fire—SVU—Chicago P.D.' Crossover Casts 'Walking Dead' Alum (Exclusive) - The Hollywood Reporter

Dallas Roberts will appear on the NBC series later this month.

Dallas Roberts has some killer shoes to fill.

The Walking Dead alum has been tapped to play a suspected serial killer in the upcoming three-show crossover event between Chicago Fire, Law & Order: SVU and Chicago PD, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Roberts will portray Greg Yates, a charismatic doctor who becomes the prime suspect in a string of brutal rape/murders. The crossover episodes are slated to air on April 28 and 29.

The NBC dramas, all produced by Dick Wolf Films, first attempted a three-show crossover in November, which resulted in impressive ratings increases across the board. The Peacock renewed all three series back in February.

Roberts' credits include The Good Wife, Unforgettable, The Grey and 3:10 to Yuma. He is repped by UTA and Circle of Confusion.
