The Good Wife creators, seven months into their new overall deal with CBS Television Studios, have launched their own production company.

Liz Glotzer, who most recently served as president of Castle Rock Entertainment, has been tapped to oversee Robert and Michelle King's newly launched King Size Productions.

King Size will be based at CBSTVS, which produces the CBS critical darling.

"We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Liz," the Kings said in a statement. "Not only does she have spectacular taste, she has years of experience working with wonderful feature writers — many of whom are now looking to explore TV. That background, plus having the producing skills to help us move our own projects forward, makes this the perfect match."

Glotzer joined Castle Rock at its inception and was promoted to president in 1996. During her tenure, Castle Rock produced more than 90 films, including When Harry Met Sally, Misery, Honeymoon in Vegas, In the Line of Fire, Dolores Claiborne, A Few Good Men, City Slickers, Best in Show, Miss Congeniality, The Polar Express, Fracture and Michael Clayton.

In addition to supervising all aspects of production and development for Castle Rock, Glotzer produced or executive produced 17 features, including The Shawshank Redemption, Friends With Benefits and Two Weeks Notice.

Before Glotzer joined Castle Rock, she was an executive at the Samuel Goldwyn Co.

The Kings inked a hefty new three-year deal with CBSTVS in September and are already developing comedy horror Brain Dead for the network.

The Kings are repped by Paradigm and Del Shaw. Glotzer is with Myman Abell.
