Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not worried about their “most shocking and embarrassing secrets” coming to light, despite a National Enquirer report claiming the couple’s “private letters” have gone missing from their French estate, allegedly leaving them panicked. Gossip Cop can bust the story.
According to the outlet, the letters supposedly contain details of Pitt and Jolie’s “marital woes, cheating fears, parenting problems, and even drug abuse.” Now they’ve purportedly vanished. “Brad went into a panic because he couldn’t find them,” a made-up source tells the Enquirer. “He’s terrified that they were lifted by someone who wants to publicly humiliate them.”
The magazine claims to have extensive knowledge of the supposed letters’ contents. According to the Enquirer, there are “heated exchanges over their rotten sex life,” passages about “Jolie’s lesbian lust and her druggie past,” and details about “problems Pitt had with Jennifer Aniston.” In other words, these “letters” conveniently cover years’ worth of sensationalized Enquirer stories about the couple.
A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid, “Their worst fear is that someone will try to cash in and destroy the wholesome image they’ve worked so hard to craft.” Uh-huh. Except no one seems to have these letters. There’s no proof these letters exist. There’s no evidence of what is even in these alleged letters.
All we have is more speculative alarmism from an outlet that has spent the better part of a decade spreading false stories about Jolie and Pitt. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop there’s “no truth at all” to the latest report. Anyone eagerly anticipating these purported letters to surface should probably not hold his or her breath.
