Amy Schumer jokingly fell in front of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the red carpet at Tuesday’s Time 100 Gala. See photos below.
As Gossip Cop reported, all three stars made the magazine’s 2015 list of the “Most Influential People,” with West even scoring one of the five special edition covers. There’s an annual celebratory soiree each year, but this year’s event didn’t get off on the right foot for Kardashian. Literally.
After stepping out of her vehicle to make her entrance with West, Kardashian’s long dress was stepped up on by one of the paparazzi crowding the scene to take pictures. Photos show the reality star looking back after being stopped short, and the paparazzo nearly falling and almost ripping the gown’s train. It was after that mishap that Schumer pulled her stunt.
As Kardashian and West made their way across the red carpet, Schumer fell down right in front of them. According to Time, the comedienne’s actions were meant to be a Wayne’s World-inspired “we’re not worthy” prank, with Schumer mockingly bowing in front of them and pretending to be in awe of their presence. When she wasn’t laying on the ground, the Comedy Central star also posed normally for photos, and even for some with fellow honoree Bradley Cooper.
Needless to say, West and Kardashian did not seem amused by her antics, and photos taken show them looking down at Schumer as they walk on by. The rapper is expected to perform inside the star-studded gala. See pictures of the red carpet incident below.
