A purported Zayn Malik demo called “I Won’t Mind” was released by Naughty Boy on Monday, a few hours after the producer was blasted by Malik’s now former One Direction band mate, Louis Tomlinson. Listen to the song below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Tomlinson ripped Naughty Boy on Twitter Monday evening after Naughty Boy retweeted a fan-made video celebrating “Zaughty,” the collaboration between Malik and Naughty Boy in the wake of his exit from One Direction. Fans have not only been crushed by Malik leaving the group, but also his team-up with Naughty Boy to work on solo material, and Tomlinson accused Naughty Boy of being “inconsiderate.”

Naughty Boy initially thought Tomlinson was calling him out for an old tweet from last year, but when he realized it was over the fan video he reposted, Naughty Boy tweeted, “when ur gettin hate for some thing u didn’t do, a bit of love can go a long way, that’s why I retweeted, time will tell the real story guys.” He went on to write to Tomlinson directly, “lol you should let the other boys talk for a change. :)”

Naughty Boy later retuned to Twitter to share a link to the demo on Soundcloud, writing, “let the music do the talking guys. thank us later. :) x ” And, on the Soundcloud, the description reads, “let the music do the talking. there is nothing but love for what was left behind. thats why we don’t mind. ;) #2016 #zaughty #zindabad.” Admittedly, the song does sound a lot like Malik’s voice, and Naughty Boy wrote “I won’t mind” in a tweet to the singer back in September. That’s further leading some Directioners to believe this all was in the works for quite a while. Listen to “I Won’t Mind” below, and tell us what you think.
