Windell Middlebrooks, an actor perhaps best known as the Miller High Life delivery guy in a series of commercials, but also recognizable from roles on TV series including “The Bernie Mac Show,” “Scrubs” and “Body of Proof,” has died suddenly. He was 36 years old.

The actor was found unconscious in his home in California on Monday and rushed to the hospital, but nothing could be done to save him. TMZ reports that there were not signs of foul play, but no cause of death has been disclosed.

Middlebrooks was a regular presence on television, appearing on shows like “Entourage,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “Cougar Town.” He’d also been seen as a plumber on “Hannah Montana” and as recurring character Kirby Morris on “The Suite Life on Deck.” Middlebrooks is in the Adam Carolla movie Road Hard, which was just released last week.

His biggest platform, however, may have been a series of commercials in which Middlebrooks portrayed a delivery man whose love of Miller High Life and distaste for snobbery and high prices led to some very entertaining situations. Watch one of the old commercials below. Gossip Cop will have more information on the circumstances of Middlebrooks’ death when it becomes available.
