Vine star Cameron Dallas was arrested in L.A. Wednesday for felony vandalism after he hurled a can of paint from the sixth floor of his apartment building, narrowly missing a woman walking by below. The 20-year-old Internet sensation was taken away in handcuffs as three police officers placed him in the backseat of a squad car.

The police were first called to Dallas’ apartment after neighbors complained about loud partying. When cops arrived, there was no noise coming from the apartment and no one answered the front door.  However, neighbors called the cops a second time later, saying someone had thrown a paint can over the sixth floor balcony.

A woman happened to be walking by at the time and was almost hit with the can, reports TMZ. This time when police arrived, they discovered that Dallas’ apartment and a few people inside were covered in paint. There was also paint splattered in the hallway of the building.

The Vine star was arrested on felony vandalism and held on $20,000 bail. He was released early Thursday. Shortly after Dallas’ release, he tweeted that the paint fiasco was for a Vine video. “Lets just say this video will be awesome… #20DaysOfDallas #TheyDidntTellMeRightsThough,” he wrote.
