Jimmy Fallon and Jim Parsons battled Miles Teller and Wiz Khalifa for an unforgettable game of “Catchphrase” on Monday’s “Tonight Show.” Watch the video below.
Before things got going, Fallon and Parsons tried to pull off a special handshake. It was less than impressive. The first round of the game featured some lightning-fast guesswork by all players, with the exception of Fallon, who kept whiffing as Parsons tried to describe “flip phone.” We learned that Khalifa’s favorite movie is Pulp Fiction. And it turned out that he and Teller seemed to have a real “Catchphrase” connection as teammates.
The second round proved to be even more entertaining, albeit less successful. Parsons had a lot of trouble coming up with “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” But the highlight of the entire segment may have been the look of bewilderment and anxiety on Khalifa’s face when Teller used the clue, “It’s a Taylor Swift song” for the phrase “Shake It Off.” It became very clear, very quickly, that Khalifa is not too familiar with Swift’s work.
We won’t spoil who won. Needless to say, it was a game for the ages. Watch the video of “Catchphrase” with Jim Parsons, Miles Teller and Wiz Khalifa from Monday’s “Tonight Show” below!
