'Dancing With the Stars'

Dancing With the Stars was a bit humbled in its return on Monday night. Though the ABC series was still the night's most-watched broadcast outing, averaging 14 million viewers, it fell six-tenths of a point from last spring's debut to a premiere low 2.0 rating among adults 18-49.

The show was also off four-tenths of a point from its latest fall cycle, leading into a steady Castle (1.5 adults).

The Voice was still the top dog for Monday, though it fell half of a point to a 3.3 rating among adults 18-49. The Night Shift (1.5 adults) rose two-tenths of a point at 10 p.m.

Mike & Molly (1.9 adults) was off just two-tenths of a point as CBS' lone new outing of the night, and The Following (1.1 adults) held even on Fox — at its series low.

The Originals (0.6 adults) and Jane the Virgin (0.4 adults) were steady on the CW.
