"The Bachelor" Chris Soules has made his choice.
After a two-hour episode, where he took his two final women – Whitney and Becca – home to meet his family, he finally made a decision and proposed!

"From the moment that I met you, and the moment you got out of that limo, I can still remember the time we spent together that evening," Chris told Whitney before breaking the news that he had chosen her.
"Being able to have you here today and being able to have you here in Iowa, meeting my family and seeing how they reacted to you, there's so many things about you that I am so excited about," he continued. "It's not work for us. It's natural and it's like we both want the same thing and it's – it feels so right and it feels so perfect. And that's what I want for the rest of my life. I love you."

Whitney was very pleased with the news.
"Oh my God! I never want to forget this moment," she said (luckily it was captured on camera, and broadcast to millions, so she likely won't).
Then, Chris got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
"Absolutely," she replied, without hesitation.

Earlier in the evening, Chris said goodbye to Becca and their romance.
"You're not really ready," he told her. "I have to just go with my heart and my gut and I don't think it's fair for either of us to take that leap at this point."
Becca did not appear to cry as she left the show.
