What is going on between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris? The music stars have been the subjects of dating rumors, and speculation surged on Thursday after Swift and Harris got cozy at the Kenny Chesney concert in Nashville. There is video of the pair holding hands as they left the show (see below), and other photos from the evening show Harris with his arms around Swift’s waist.
TMZ also reports they kissed, and some eyewitnesses have said Swift spent a while sitting on Harris’ lap. At other points during the show, the pop star danced by herself. See additional video below.
It should be noted that neither Harris nor Swift has given any kind of verbal confirmation that there’s a romance between them. In fact, during a British radio show interview last November, Harris was asked about his interest in a number of famous women and said of Swift, “She’s just the opposite of my type. She looks lovely, she’s just the opposite of my type” (video below).
It also bears mentioning that Swift has been rankled by false dating rumors about other music figures with whom she’s been seen getting close, such as Hozier and Ed Sheeran. She told The Telegraph, “I just got so freaked out that people were going to say I was dating [Hozier]. I started thinking, ‘I can’t let this ruin my friendships with dudes.’ I didn’t let it ruin my friendship with Ed [Sheeran] — they always said we were dating and we never were. But sometimes I get really scared.”
Even so, Swift’s apparent PDA with Harris at Chesney’s concert is already generating a huge amount of speculation. Watch the footage below, and tell us what you think.
