Taraji P. Henson has an interesting, if not eyebrow-raising, way of stopping Terrence Howard from getting “aroused” during their sex scenes on “Empire.” She pretends he’s molesting her. See the comments in the video below.
Henson appeared on Power 105.1 on Tuesday, one day before the hit FOX show’s first season finale, and spoke about everything from racism to going up for Kerry Washington’s role on “Scandal.” It was when talking about her years-long working relationship and friendship with Howard that “rolling around in the bed” together came up.
“He hates that. Because you have to keep them, the boys, you have to keep them professional. They can’t help if they get aroused,” Henson told host Angie Martinez. The actress then recalled, “Every time we laid there, he kept talking to his male member, ‘Don’t do that!… No, don’t! Taraji’s gonna punch me!’ So then I said, ‘You know I will sock you in the throat!'”
“And then he goes, ‘Okay, I’m gonna have to keep my pants on.’ And I said, ‘Okay, do what you need to do,” continued Henson. “So I said, ‘Let me help you.’ Every time he would get on top of me, I would be [in little girl’s voice] ‘Daddy, why are you on top of me? Where’s mommy? Why is the door closed?’ He would be like, ‘Oh no!’ but it worked.”
Henson went on, “I would be like, ‘Why are you touching me daddy?’ And he was like, ‘Aw, no, that is twisted!’ But guess what? We got through the scene real quick.” The Oscar nominee also discussed her other “Empire” love scene with (spoiler alert if you haven’t seen the finale!)
