Kelly Osbourne is NOT selling her Los Angeles home, because she doesn’t OWN a Los Angeles home, despite a report from a disreputable site with less traffic than a deserted island.
The pathetic outlet claimed on Tuesday to be “reporting exclusively” (cough) that Osbourne “quietly put her Hollywood Hills house on the market for $1.99 million.” The site embarrassingly went on to allege,”That’s at a slight loss — because she bought the home on the highly desirable Doheny Dr. last year for $2 million.” But this so-called “exclusive” couldn’t be more off base.
Osbourne herself tweeted on Tuesday evening, “I don’t own a house in the US nor am I selling one!” It doesn’t get any clearer than that. Making the screw-up even worse is the fact that, as Gossip Cop reported back in January, Osbourne doesn’t even live in a house, but an apartment. Of course, this mistake is hardly a surprise, as this is the same discredited outlet that once falsely claimed Bethenny Frankel dissed Gwyneth Paltrow.
Unfortunately, Osbourne has been at the center of wrong rumors before. Just last week, Gossip Cop corrected a Star story that alleged the star’s “career has gone up in flames” in the wake of her “Fashion Police” exit. A rep for Osbourne shot down the report, and in actuality, she has been regularly co-hosting “The Talk,” working on her fashion collection, and exploring other opportunities.
