Harvey Weinstein has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in New York. On Monday, law enforcement sources revealed that cops have questioned the movie mogul after an unidentified 22-year-old Italian model told police he groped her breasts and between her legs at the Tribeca Film Center last Friday.

It is now up to the Manhattan District Attorney to decide whether to file charges against Weinstein. Gossip Cop has reached out to Weinstein’s camp for comment about the situation. We will have updates.

Weinstein, who is married to fashion designer Georgina Chapman, is accused of initiating contact with the woman, who reportedly works for a well-known modeling agency. The mega-producer is said to have groped her breasts and asked whether they’re real. The woman reportedly asked Weinstein to stop and immediately filed a complaint with police. Cops then interviewed Weinstein about the allegations over the weekend. He has yet to issue a statement.

The co-founder of Miramax and later The Weinstein Company, Weinstein is a prolific producer behind some of the most-honored movies of the last three decades, including The English Patient, Shakespeare in Love, Good Will Hunting and Gangs of New York.
