Gunman In Canadian Terror Attack Revealed Motive In Cell Phone Video

The 32-year-old Canadian, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, said in a cell phone video he made before the attack that he was motivated by Canada’s military involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq.

In the cell phone video made in his car just before last October's attack, 32-year-old Michael Zehaf-Bibeau said Canada had no right to involve its military in the Middle East conflicts and warned that its soldiers are "not even safe in your own land."

From there, Zehaf-Bibeau stormed Parliament, where he was shot dead by the sergeant-at-arms of the House of Commons.

The sergeant-at-arms, Kevin Vickers, was later hailed as a hero for stopping what Canada's prime minister called a terror attack.
