‘Game of Thrones’: Joffrey’s Sister Stars in Season 5 Photos

HBO has a treat for Game of Thrones fans not lucky enough to be at the show's Tower of London premiere Wednesday.

HBO has released new clip as well as a slew of photos featuring season five newcomers, as well as a few familiar faces. 

First up: In a new clip, Varys (Conleth Hill) reveals why he freed Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) from the dungeon in King's Landing, where he was being held after being wrongfully convicted of Joffrey's (Jack Gleeson) murder.

"I did it for the Seven Kingdoms," Varys says. "I believe men of talent have a part to pay in the war to come."

Cercei (Lena Headey) and Jaime's (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) only daughter Myrcella Baratheon (Nell Tiger Free) was shipped off to Dorne for political reasons in season two, and hasn't been seen since. The sister of two kings (Joffrey and Tommen) makes her return in a key role for season five, with Free replacing Aimee Richardson, who played the character for the first two seasons.

In this photo, Myrcella speaks with her betrothed Trystane Martell (Toby Sebastian), the nephew of Oberyn (Pedro Pascal), who died violently in King's Landing last season.

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds) have plenty to talk about after the Wildling leader led a brutal attack on The Wall, and eventually surrendered. 

Obara Sand (Keisha Castle-Hughes) is the eldest bastard daughter of Oberyn. She's a fierce warrior whose mother was a Dornish peasant girl.

Tyene Sand (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers) is another daughter of Oberyn's. Her mother is Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma) made her mark on the show when she came to King's Landing last season.

Nym Sand (Jessica Henwick) is Oberyn's  second-eldest bastard daughter. Her mother was an Eastern noblewoman and raised Nym to be cultured. The whip is her weapon of choice.

Melisandre (Carice van Houten) loves nothing more than having the blood of a king to work her magic. She has Mance in her grips as season five begins.
