NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches (working title) will follow the duo as they drive from Atlanta to Los Angeles. It's a Bravo resurgence for Zolciak, who has also gotten a fourth-season order for her series Don't Be Tardy ...
Other Bravo series nabbing renewals are Ladies of London, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and Manzo'd With Children. The network will push further into scripted in June with Odd Mom Out, and initial foray Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce already picked up a second-season order, but this new slate is all about unscripted. The network ordered 10 new reality shows (including NeNe and Kim) in all: Après Ski, Fit Club, My Fab 40th, Mother Funders, Tour Group and Recipe for Deception — as well as spinoffs of existing franchises Below Deck Mediterranean, Ladies of Dallas and Married to Medicine Houston.
"Bravo continues to super-serve the most educated, affluent, engaged and loyal audience with our original content on all platforms," said NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment lifestyles networks president Frances Berwick. "We are excited to launch these new unscripted and scripted series and believe the new slate will deliver the same high-quality and viewing benefits, but with a broader lens to drive even more 'affluencers' to view as well as engage socially."
Berwick, who also counts Esquire, Oxygen and E! under her purview, also announced a slew of new series on Esquire and Oxygen, including the first-ever pair of companion series across the two networks: Comedians of L.A. on Esquire and Living With Funny on Oxygen. Though most of the casting is still forthcoming, Tropic Thunder star Brandon T. Jackson is already signed on to star in both. Esquire's take on the series will focus on comics' careers and comedy tours, while the Oxygen version dwells on their personal lives and relationships.
Also new on Esquire: the previously announced The Agent, wine-centric Somm, Going Deep With David Rees and United States of Burgers.
As for Oxygen, the network has added new unscripted series Douglas Family Gold, The Hustle, Pretty. Strong., Player Gets Played, Boss Nails and the third installment of franchise Preachers of Atlanta.
Additionally, the network has secured exclusive cable rights to the half-hour syndicated comedy show Crazy Talk — which is set to debut this fall from NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution.
"Oxygen is unveiling our most ambitious slate, embracing the new brand filter with bold and optimistic programming for young multicultural women," added Berwick. "We are excited to be partnering with leading producers to create content that cuts through the clutter, connects our millennial viewers to the things that matter to them, with depictions of real people living life on their own terms."
