Jerod Brown, the cousin of Bobbi Kristina, has come to Nick Gordon’s defense after a family member publicly bashed him on Sunday. Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Leolah Brown told TMZ that Gordon had “manipulated” Dr. Phil and her niece.
Following Leolah’s comments, Jerod took to Facebook to stick up for Gordon, writing that his cousin’s boyfriend has been working with the police despite claims that Gordon was refusing to discuss the events leading up to Bobbi Kristina being found unresponsive in a filled bathtub.
“Nick has cooperated with the police department, he has cooperated with my uncle Bobby’s request, He has given my family members as much information as he can,” Jerod writes, adding, “he has been exploited on national television with hidden cameras that he had no idea about, He has given Kristina CPR which is one of the reasons why she is not dead till this day.”
Jerod continues saying that Gordon has been “ridiculed” and the allegations Leolah made about him being investigated for attempted murder don’t have “any concrete evidence.” He writes, “Yet he still hasn’t gotten the chance to visit his girl. If everybody truly believes that Nick is the blame for this situation wouldn’t you think he would already be locked up by now.”
On March 11 Gordon did an interview with Dr. Phil to talk about Bobbi Kristina and how he’s been coping since the incident, but what was supposed to be a sit-down discussion turned into a dramatic intervention.
