I hate everything about this country. Like, I hate fat white Americans. All the people who are crunched into the middle of America, the real fat and meat of America, are these racist conservative white people who live on their farms. Those little teenage girls who work at Kmart and have a racist grandma—that's really America.

Picking up on many of the themes she discussed at length in this radio interview from December which brought her to tears, she talked about how black people in America had been ripped "from their land, from their customs, from their culture". She added, "There's still a piece of me that knows I'm not supposed to be speaking English, I'm not supposed to be worshipping Jesus Christ. All this shit is unnatural to me."

She also compared the media's treatment of her to that of Lorde, telling the magazine: "It's always about race. Lorde can run her mouth and talk shit about all these other bitches, but y'all aren't saying she's angry."

The subjects of sexuality and religion are also discussed.

Banks told the magazine she doesn't understand "how someone could be an atheist".

She also said she "loves" getting naked and that posing for Playboy was a "no-brainer".

On the subject of her bisexuality, she said that "most women are scared of me". She added that she couldn't "just meet a guy and fuck him," because she's "too afraid of getting herpes or some shit".
