Trainwreck has its first trailer. The new movie from Judd Apatow stars Amy Schumer, Bill Hader and LeBron James. It opens in July. Watch the trailer below!
Schumer stars as a hard-partying journalist whose romantic life consists of a series of one-night stands. She is what you might call a trainwreck. Her character is assigned a story to profile Hader’s character, a sports doctor. James plays himself as Hader’s patient/pal. He makes a joke about liking “Downton Abbey” and is very tall.
The movie is being anticipated as a big breakout moment for Schumer, jumping from standup success and TV stardom to a big-screen starring vehicle. She co-wrote the movie with Apatow. It’s his first directing work since This Is 40. As with Apatow’s other movie, Trainwreck looks like a big ensemble comedy exploring sex and relationships. Except this one includes LeBron James as the best friend giving advice.
