Taylor Swift Collaboration With Kanye West NOT Called Off, Despite Claim She Fears Rapper Will “Destroy Her Image”

Taylor Swift does NOT “fear collaborating with Kanye West will destroy her image,” despite a seemingly made-up story from a webloid that makes up a lot of stories. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this report, which comes right after West revealed he and Swift plan to go into the recording studio together.

HollywoodLife now claims to have an “exclusive” (cough), alleging Swift is “nervous” and “a bit hesitant hesitant because she’s afraid the rapper is too unpredictable and he’ll destroy her image.” The site quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Taylor is very protective of her image and she knows that working with Kanye could go either way. If she does it, she wants it to look like she provided the olive branch and forgave him, but she is scared that he will do something stupid and in turn make her look bad.”

The alleged HollywoodLife “source” even goes as far as saying, “So she is treading lightly on a collaboration and at this point it is not going to happen. Wishful thinking on Kanye’s part.” We fully expect HollywoodLife to pretend it never said this when a Swift-West collaboration does happen. Or, the webloid will steal our exclusive correction in a matter of hours, as if it never made up the false story in the first place and knew the “truth” all along.

But the truth is this: An ACTUAL source close to Swift tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “This rumor is not true.” We hear that while no plans have been finalized, the potential collaboration hasn’t been called off, either. There is no “fear” getting in Swift’s way. Just another sensational story from HollywoodLies, er, HollywoodLife, which publishes sensational stories about the singer on a near-daily swift.
