Snooki is not trying to join the “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” despite a newly published report. The rumor began in the pages of one of the tabloids this week. But it is NOT true.
According to Life & Style, Snooki, who was on “Jersey Shore,” has now set her sights on joining another reality franchise, namely “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” The tabloid quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “She’s trying to get on the show,” noting it’s a “perfect fit” for Snooki since past “Jersey Shore” stars like her and JWoww are becoming “housewives themselves” in real life.
The magazine adds that the pint-sized reality star has been laying the foundation for an offer by tweeting about wanting to be on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” and is open to doing anything to “make the leap from MTV to Bravo.” “She’s gearing up for a change in her career, and being on ‘Housewives’ makes sense for her,” concludes the tabloid’s ill-informed outsider.
