Cable ties, masking tape and rope – just part of the fun in the newly-released footage from "Fifty Shades of Grey."
The first full scene from the highly anticipated upcoming film debuted on the "Today" show on Monday, giving fans their first look at the fateful scene where Christian shows up at the hardware store where Ana works to buy (what she doesn't yet know are) BDSM supplies for his Red Room.
The awkward, tension-filled scene follows the duo around the hardware store as Christian asks Ana where to locate various items.

The scene even seems to give a nod to Jamie Dornan's homicidal role on the UK's "The Fall," as Ana (Dakota Johnson) tells Christian, "Ok, rope, tape, cable ties – you're the complete serial killer."
"Not today," Jamie's Christian replies, with a coy smile.
