Judge the German shepherd helped make over 150 arrests during his long and distinguished career.
Police officers in Woolwich Township, New Jersey, lined the streets to pay tribute and say goodbye to veteran police dog Judge on Friday.
Corporal Michael Franks took the heartbreaking decision to put the 9-year-old German shepherd down after watching his health deteriorate.
Gloucester County Online reported that Judge and Franks had worked together since 2007 and that the former was deployed over 280 times, helping arrest 152 people.

On their way to Swedesboro Animal Hospital, Franks and Judge were met by almost 100 people paying their respects.
Judge had been battling Cushing's disease.

West Deptford deputy chief Sean McKenna told nj.com that Judge "had gone under surgery, and was taking medication for the disease, but it quickly deteriorated, unfortunately".
