Liv Tyler gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday, more than six weeks before her due date. Thankfully, the newborn is said to be okay, though he will have to remain in the hospital for an undisclosed amount of time.

“He’s healthy and everyone is very happy,” Tyler’s rep tells People of the baby boy, whose name has not been released. The little one marks the first child for Tyler and boyfriend David Gardner together. He joins Tyler’s son Milo, 10, from her previous marriage, and Gardner’s 7-year-old son Miles from his own prior marriage.

As Gossip Cop reported, Tyler was confirmed to be expecting back in September. Since then, she has captured her pregnancy in both hilarious and poignant ways. For instance, the actress’ Halloween costume consisted of wearing a fake oven with a bun inside of it. A number of weeks later, she had her close friend, “Girls” star Jemima Kirke, paint a portrait of her naked baby bump.

Tyler and Gardner’s baby news follows a number of rumors that wrongly claimed she and Justin Theroux, her co-star on “The Leftovers,” were getting too close on set, upsetting Theroux’s fiancée Jennifer Aniston. And before that, there was a story falsely alleging she was dating Orlando Bloom.

The baby boy, of course, marks another grandchild for rocker Steven Tyler. Gossip Cop extends congratulations and well-wishes to the whole family.
