And there was a popcorn shower! James Franco and Zachary Quinto took advantage of The New York Times’ sponsored slo-mo video booth at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. The costars, who get it on together in upcoming flick I Am Michael, shared an extremely slow, drawn-out kiss in the video booth.

It all starts with Franco and Quinto staring into each other’s eyes and leaning in close to one another. After a series of other actors are shown doing various movements in slow motion, the clip then ends with the duo finally locking lips underneath a popcorn shower before erupting into laughter.
I am Michael is based on a New York Times article written by Benoit Denizet-Lewis titled “My Ex-Gay Friend.” The flick tells the story of a former gay activist who becomes an anti-gay Christian fundamentalist after announcing he’s straight.

While chatting with Huffington Post, Franco and Quinto’s costar Charlie Carver said filming the talked-about threesome scene with the actors was “hot as hell” -- literally.
"We were in an attic in Long Island in the middle of the summer,” he explained. “And the air conditioning was broken. So it was memorable…you have to have a sense of humor.”
