The very first footage from the new James Bond movie Spectre was released early Thursday. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop reported, the film was announced in December as the 24th in the storied franchise, with Daniel Craig once again playing Bond, cast members Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris all returning, and Sam Mendes back as director. Interestingly, it is the movie’s newcomers who are seen in the new behind-the-scenes video, namely Léa Seydoux and David Bautista, and not the familiar faces.

The clip, just under 2 minutes in length, features Seydoux and Baustia sharing their excitement and nervousness to be working on the movie in Austria. The footage shows the very first day of filming, and “a major action sequence” being shot. The crew finds themselves challenged by the weather, altitude, and remoteness of the mountainous location, but expecting a “stunning” payoff. The sneak peek ends with Craig as Bond doing what Bond often does best: taking out an adversary.

Production began in December, shortly after the project was officially announced. One week later, it was revealed an early script for the film was among the thousands of documents stolen last fall in the Sony hacking. As Gossip Cop reported, producers said they were “concerned that third parties who have received the stolen screenplay may seek to publish it or its contents,” but that does not seem to have happened. Spectre is slated to hit theaters on November 6. Check out the first-look video below, and tell us what you think!
