Evan Rachel Wood is NOT upset about Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder being engaged, despite a rumor started in OK! magazine and picked up by unreliable outlets like Celeb Dirty Laundry. Wood debunked the nonsense on Twitter on Saturday.
When Wood recently learned from a reporter that her old Thirteen co-star and pal Reed was engaged, she was quoted as saying, “She got engaged? To Ian? I can’t believe she didn’t text me! I’m going to have to get on her.” In other words, she was happy and jovial.
But OK! wanted controversy. As quoted on CDL, a so-called “source” for the magazine claimed, “Evan was livid that she found out the good news from the media like everyone else. Evan and Ian have always rubbed each other the wrong way. Nikki knew Evan wouldn’t be happy about the proposal, and she’s right. But, more than anything Evan is upset that Nikki didn’t tell her!”
CDL adds that Wood is spreading doubts that Somerhalder and his ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev are really done. “It’s no wonder Ian doesn’t want his fiancée hanging out with Evan Rachel Wood,” alleges the webloid.
Except there’s NO TRUTH to this supposed feud. Wood busted it herself, tweeting, “Haha! Apparently I don’t like you, according to the tabloids. Could not be happier for you and Nikki. @iansomerhalder.” Everyone’s happy… except the tabloids.
