Azealia Banks will appear on the cover of Playboy and naked in its pages for the magazine’s upcoming April music issue. The outspoken rapper’s provocative nude photos are described by the outlet as a “frisky pictorial that’s sure to break the Internet.” Oh, my!
Gossip Cop will have updates on Banks’ accompanying interview soon, as it’s likely to be a doozy. The performer has made headlines in recent months as much for her opinions as her music, with a number of much-discussed Twitter rants on everything from the rape allegations against Bill Cosby to her desire for slavery reparations.
Banks has warred with Iggy Azalea over the appropriation of black culture, blamed America and American corporations for not permitting blacks to succeed, slammed Kendrick Lamar over the issue of police brutality, advocated for the separation of whites and blacks, called out the “gay white media” as “evil” and ugly,” and defended her use of the word “f*ggot” as feminist rather than homophobic. In other words, she always has plenty to say.
