Lea Michele sings “Let It Go” on the season premiere of “Glee.” Is it the most important musical performance of our generation? Check out the video below!

In the episode, Michele’s character Rachel Berry is seen on stage, and also walking through her old stomping grounds at McKinley High School, where she’s returned to revive the glee club. Of course, the ubiquitous Frozen hit “Let It Go” was originally sung by Idina Menzel, who plays Michele’s biological mother on “Glee.” Showbiz synergy!

The final season of “Glee” will run for 13 episodes. Series creator Ryan Murphy told reporters last year, “It really [will be] a lovely, fitting season that… dwells on the original people that were on the show and what happens to them and how they give back… It’s really interesting, a very sweet, satisfying ending to the story.” The story will largely depart from New York, where Michele’s character and others had moved after their glory days at McKinley High.

Are you excited for the two-hour final season premiere of “Glee” on Friday? Have you not had your fill of Frozen cover performances? Check out the video of Lea Michele singing “Let It Go” below, and tell us what you think!
