Amy Schumer and Anna Kendrick star in a funny new promo for the MTV Movie Awards, which Schumer is hosting on April 12. Watch the video below!
In the clip, a clearly disinterested Kendrick has no idea who Schumer is, but Schumer thinks they’re going to become best friends. An overeager Schumer gets handsy with the actress, and asks if she’s related to Kendrick Lamar or the title character in Annie.
“Girls with our body types get roped into dressing super-sexy, but you and I are doing an understated thing,” Schumer tells an uneasy Kendrick. The upcoming host says she got the gig because she’s a “really cool person” (and maybe because Chelsea Handler turned it down).
Schumer then reveals that she set up cups for Kendrick to perform her hit “Cups.” But Schumer has her own spin on things, drinking down a cupful of booze, including a ping pong ball. “You’re not going to believe where I can shoot it out of,” she tells Kendrick. “My p*ssy!”
