Taylor Swift’s ‘This Sick Beat’ Is Off Limits! – ARTICLE

Taylor Swift's sick beats are all hers… and don't even think about using them elsewhere!

The 25-year-old has taken another step in world domination – she's trademarked a slew of lyrics from her "1989" album, including the now iconic (well, at least in the hearts of T. Swizzlefans!) lyric "This Sick Beat," as seen posted on legal database Justia (via Vox).

In addition to this sick beat™, the singer has the rights to "Party Like It's 1989,""'Cause We Never Go Out of Style," "Could Show You Incredible Things" and "Nice to Meet You, Where You Been?"

Tay will need to grant permission to use these lyrics on a variety of items like guitar straps, jewelry, stickers, temporary tattoos, luggage, pillows, bath towels, wind chimes, eating utensils, pot holders, wigs (huh?) and Christmas tree ornaments just to name a few!

Oddly, "haters gonna hate, hate, hate" did not appear on her list of trademarked lyrics.
