Crackle is giving sports fanatics a new way to show off their trivia smarts — a second screen feature tied to the the Sports Jeopardy! app.
The new feature, being announced Tuesday at the Television Critics Association press tour, will sync with the show, providing real-time highlights and challenges, which will allow users to earn in-game currency and unlock rewards. Following the show, users can also enjoy exclusive bonus content ties to each episode, including commentary and highlights that follow along with the show.
“We set out to bring a first-of-it’s-kind live weekly program with “Sports Jeopardy!” and now we’ve taken it a step further with an unprecedented mobile experience that sports fans can enjoy anywhere, on any connected device," said said Eric Berger, EVP, Digital Networks, Sony Pictures Television and GM, Crackle.
The second screen feature is available for free on iOS, Google Play, and Amazon.
Sports Jeopardy! is hosted by veteran sportscaster Dan Patrick and streams weekly on Crackle, with new episodes debuting Wednesdays.
