Snooki was NOT “betrayed” by her new husband Jionni LaValle, despite yet another bogus tabloid report about the couple. The latest rumor comes from In Touch, a clueless outlet that’s been wrong about Snooki and LaValle for years, including a laughably inaccurate claim that they split in 2011.
In its new issue, In Touch alleges that LaValle “tried to hook up with a pretty Florida woman named Alexa Waldman.” She tells the magazine, “We were dancing together and flirting, and then he asked me for my number. As soon as we left the club, he started texting me, asking me to come back to the boat they were partying on. I didn’t. It was clear he wanted more.”
The alleged flirtation supposedly happened when LaValle was celebrating his birthday with friends in Fort Lauderdale last March. One wonders why Waldman is accusing LaValle of attempting to stray nearly a year after it allegedly occurred. She claims LaValle again tried to hook up with her at his hotel the following night, except nothing actually happened. “He was ready to cheat,” says Waldman. “I wanted no part of it.”
In Touch says LaValle’s “betrayal” is no surprise to people who know the couple. “They’ve been having problems for a while,” explains a source for the tabloid. “They fight about everything from the kids to what to have for dinner… She and Jionni have been getting into blowout fights for years. No one thought they’d last this long.”
Actually, In Touch didn’t think they’d last this long, falsely reporting that they’d split four years ago, wrongly claiming Snooki was leaving “Jersey Shore” before it ended, and generally trusting the wrong sources. On Wednesday, Snooki blasted the LaValle cheating rumor, and the suggestion that her marriage is in trouble. She tweeted, “FYI,this BS story intouch is posting is a lie & ‘told’ LAST summer LOL. Lost all respect for that magazine. My man ain’t goin nowhere #shady.”
