The shooting occurred at 9am local time, with witnesses recalling Ricardo was shot after confronting a group of people playing loud music and using drugs on the beach. One of the three shots punctured Dos Santos' kidney and lung.
Police managed to apprehend one suspect, while there is still an ongoing search for others.
