Jenelle Evans is engaged for the third time. The “Teen Mom 2″ star revealed on Instagram on Tuesday night that she is set to wed baby daddy No. 2, Nathan Griffith, and shared photos of her engagement ring. Check out the pictures below.
The proposal seemingly happened during a group dinner during their vacation in St. Thomas. Before the event, Evans posted pictures of herself and her friends all dressed up, and captioned one with Griffith, “My best friend forever and ever.” She later shared close-up snapshots of her ring, writing, “Oh man! Someone’s engaged,” and, “Gorgeous!!!!”
On Twitter, Evans retweeted well-wishes, and further wrote of her sparkly bauble, “Wow! Tolkowsky diamonds aren’t cheap!” She included a blushing emoji. For Griffith’s part, he retweeted Evans “someone’s engaged” message. The couple, who were infamously trying to have sex in a car when they were stopped for reckless driving in 2013, welcomed a son named Kaiser last year.
The boy joined Evans son Jace from her prior relationship with Andrew Lewis, the pregnancy that led her to MTV’s “16 & Pregnant” and “Teen Mom.” As Gossip Cop has reported, Evans was engaged at least twice before now, and walked down the aisle once. In May 2012, she flaunted her engagement ring from Gary Head, calling herself the “luckiest girl in the world,” but the marriage plans were called off the following month.
By that November, she was engaged to Courtland Rogers, saying she had “never been this happy in my life.” They wed in December, and within 26 days, they were openly fighting on Twitter, with Evans declaring herself “single.” She announced she was pregnant in January 2013, but went on to have an abortion, as seen on the “Teen Mom 2″ season 5 premiere, around the same time she vowed to divorce Rogers.
The divorce was finalized in June 2014, just weeks before she and Griffith welcomed Kaiser. It’s unclear if Evans was ever officially engaged to Lewis, or her other former boyfriend, Kieffer Delp. Check out the photos from Evan’s big night below, and tell us what you think.
