Jennifer Aniston talked about posing topless, being the “number one snubbed” actress during awards season, and even threw cakes at audience members’ faces while appearing on Monday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show” (video below). After DeGeneres expressed how “shocked” she was that Aniston didn’t receive an Oscar nomination last Thursday for her performance in Cake, the actress joked that everyone talking about how she was overlooked has made her “the number one snubbed” star, which was “the silver lining.”
Aniston, who was nominated for a Golden Globe, a SAG Award and a Critics’ Choice Movie Award, said the “crazy thing” is that there’s already been so “much love” for Cake, even though the film hasn’t even been released. She also said she felt good because the film has brought “positivity” to people silently suffering from chronic pain, like her character does in the film. In the movie, Aniston stars as a woman who’s addicted to drugs and booze, and doesn’t want to live after a terrible car accident has left her “physically mangled,” but resolves to go on with her life.
The two went on to talk about how Aniston groped Kate Hudson’s butt at the Globes, and DeGeneres also asked the veteran actress about shots of her posing topless inside the pages of Allure with her hairdresser Chris McMillan. While Aniston said she felt perfectly comfortable doing the shoot with McMillan, who she explained is “like a brother,” she noted it would have been “weird doing a photograph that with a girlfriend.” “What are you talking about?!” exclaimed DeGeneres. The talk show show said, “The shoot we did was amazing,” while posting a photoshopped picture of the two of them embracing topless.
