Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are not planning a dream wedding in Rome this summer, despite a new and entirely inaccurate published report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this tale, which began in the pages of OK! A source close to the actress assures us the story is “not true.”

According to one of the tabloid’s ill-informed sources, “Andrew would be happy with a city hall ceremony… But Emma wants something a little more dramatic and memorable.” The magazine claims they chose Italy as the location for the wedding of “Emma’s dreams” because they had a great time last summer at the Venice Film Festival. OK! further notes Garfield and Stone are “planning a small ceremony, with just 25 friends and family in attendance.”

Of course, the tabloid doesn’t explain how them enjoying Venice last year is why they supposedly plan to wed approximately 340 miles away in Rome, but that’s the least of the magazine’s problems. The bottom line is Garfield and Stone are not getting married this summer in Rome, and any such claims, a Stone insider tells Gossip Cop, are “not true.”

Just last week, the couple did their own busting. While eating at the New York restaurant Lure Fishbar, they caught a woman stealthily trying taking a picture of them with her cell phone. The result was them posing hilariously in the background of the woman’s photo.
