Bradley Cooper says a widely spread rumor claiming Taylor Swift had pursued him romantically and that he allegedly rejected her is totally made up. On Tuesday’s “The Howard Stern Show,” the American Sniper star was asked about the story, which unreliable webloid RadarOnline manufactured in 2013, before Gossip Cop exclusively debunked it. “Taylor Swift wanted to meet you,” Stern told Cooper. “She was interested in you as a potential boyfriend. You said she’s too young for you. I would not have said that.” Cooper shut down the rumor, calling it “complete horsesh*t.” He added, “Never got a call. Nothing.” He went on to say that speculation about actresses and other celebrities trying to date him is “never” true.
Stern kept pressing, saying that he thought Cooper and Swift would make a great “power couple.” Cooper expressed doubt that they’d make a good pair, to which Stern joked, “I can tell physically, you would make beautiful children together.” Cooper said the idea that women are “throwing themselves” at him is greatly exaggerated.
