Nick Jonas paid tribute to Big this week, recreating one of Tom Hanks’ most beloved scenes from the movie. That’s right, the singer played the giant piano at FAO Schwarz in New York City! Check out the video below!

And Jonas didn’t play any old song. With help of two pals, he managed to perform his hit “Jealous,” singing the track as he hopped around the famous keyboard, much to the delight of bystanders who had no idea they’d be getting such a treat. The singer posted the clip to Facebook afterward, writing, “I stopped by FAO Schwarz in NYC and had to pay homage to the man Tom Hanks…”

Of course, most of the world couldn’t watch in person, but it’s every bit as amazing on video. One Facebook commenter even wrote of Jonas, “His ability to hold onto his breath control and falsetto while very actually hopping from key to key…gotta be those abs! Just, ridic.” And for its part, FAO Schwarz posted, “Thanks for channeling your inner Tom Hanks, Nick Jonas! Stop by anytime.”

It’s been a huge year for Jonas, who has found mainstream success in the wake of the Jonas Brothers split and his unbelievable body transformation, as seen in photo shoots and on “Kingdom.” “Jealous,” which premiered in September as the second single from the Nick Jonas album, has gone platinum and is now the singer’s highest-charting single to date, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. How does it sound on a toy keyboard? Check out the video below!
