'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'
With just a few weeks remaining in the regular season, Sunday Night Football notched another win for the NBC on Sunday. Ahead of time zone adjustments, Fast National ratings have the Patriots-Chargers pulling a steady (if preliminary) 6.1 rating among adults 18-49. (Last week's game ultimately rose to a 7.4 in the demo.)
Football fared just as nicely on Fox, with the overrun for their game starting primetime with a 5.9 rating with adults 18-49. That meant big lifts for The Simpsons (up 87 percent to a 2.8 rating), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (up 40 percent to a 2.1 rating) and Bob's Burgers (up 60 percent to a 1.6 rating). Family Guy, which last aired with another NFL lead-in, was steady with a 2.2 in the key demo.
NFL delays on CBS also leave its own scores tentative, but after 60 Minutes (1.7 adults) and an encore of the I Love Lucy Christmas Special (1.4 adults), The Mentalist (1.1 adults) dropped half of a point from its premiere to a live-plus-same day low. CSI (1.2 adults) only shed two-tenths of a point.
ABC was mostly steady with America's Funniest Home Videos (1.3 adults), Once Upon a Time (2.0 adults) and Resurrection (1.0 adults) — though Revenge (1.2 adults) rose two-tenths of a point from last week's series low.
