Kylie Jenner is hitting back at a flurry of rumors that hit the web in recent weeks, all of which are (shocker!) entirely inaccurate. Not surprisingly, all the false reports were circulated by a few facts-challenged outlets, namely Star, HollywoodLife, and MediaTakeOut. But the reality star took to Twitter on Thursday night to set the record straight.
A headline from HollywoodLife claimed Jenner planned to “become the next Iggy Azalea” with help from rumored boyfriend Tyga. The webloid picked up the claim directly from Star, which quoted a supposed source as saying, “Kylie wants to be a rapper.” HollywoodLife also did a similar cut-and-paste job on Wednesday, again regurgitating a Star story within hours of the magazine’s publication, without bothering to spend any time fact-checking. “Kylie and Tyga are getting serious and they are planning to take the plunge and become hubby and wifey,” wrote the site, repeating Star‘s allegation that the pair is “thinking about eloping in Mexico.”
And then there’s MediaTakeOut, which recently blared, “Kim Kardashian’s 17 Year Old Sister Kylie Is Pregnant . . . Tyga Knocked Her Up!!” The site, often called MediaFakeOut for all the fake “news” it spreads, wrote how Jenner “was spotted coming out of Kim Kardashian’s OBSTETRICIANS OFFICE yesterday. Yes the same doctor that DELIVERED NORTH WEST!!!” Of course, it’s also a gynecologists’ office, too, but we don’t expect MediaTakeOut to understand such things when the webloid often has trouble mastering basic spelling.
To recap: HollywoodLife and Star both alleged Jenner was planning to become a rapper and marry Tyga. MediaTakeOut claimed Jenner was pregnant with Tyga’s baby. And now the reality star just knocked out all three rumors in one fell swoop, exposing the outlets as, at best, poorly-sourced, and at worst, straight-up liars. “Not trying to become a rapper, I’m not getting married, & I’m not pregnant….” the teen tweeted (see screengrab below). Sister Kendall even retweeted the message, adding, “Word.” There you have it.
