George and Amal Clooney are NOT expecting a baby, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can bust this story from Star, the same magazine that recently alleged (falsely) that Amal and Angelina Jolie “hate each other” and were involved in a major feud. That was bogus, and so is this.
According to Star, the couple “conceived a baby during their romantic honeymoon in Seychelles — and though they’ve yet to announce the pregnancy, they couldn’t be happier!” A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “This has been such a whirlwind for Amal. First she married one of the most famous men in the world after a short, intense romance, and now she is expecting her first child so soon after the wedding. Everything is happening so fast, but she is so thrilled about all of it!” Wow. We wish these fake Star sources would give less fake-sounding quotes.
The phony Star “insider” continues, “It’s adorable how proud and excited [George] is. Having a baby with Amal is the best thing that’s ever happened to him. He honestly can’t wait to be a dad.” Uh-huh. The rest of the interminable cover story is spent on filler, including an intricate discussion of a non-existent baby nursery, Amal’s supposed maternity leave, where they’ll raise the non-existent child, and so on. It’s all very exciting and very fake. A rep for Clooney exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “She is not pregnant.”
