I’m going to sit this one out.
This is what the Skyscraper roller coaster in Orlando will look like when it opens to the public in 2017.
Absolutely fucking terrifying.
The ride will take people 570ft above International Drive and loop around the $250 million Skyplex entertainment complex.
The computer-animation of what Skyscraper will look like was revealed on Monday and it has quickly been shared across the world.
Michael Kitchen, the president of the ride’s developers, US Thrill Riders, said in a press release: “Skyscraper will not only take riders higher than ever before, but also introduce one thrill right after the next – there’s no ‘down time’ on this four minute coaster experience.
“It is an absolute cutting-edge engineering marvel that will deliver pure adrenaline unlike any roller coaster in the world today.”
As well as the roller coaster, the 495,000-square-foot Skyplex complex will include bars, restaurants, climbing walls, arcades and shops, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
It will also include an observation deck 535ft above the ground.
Construction is set to to begin next year.
