Kanye West is NOT commissioning a giant nude portrait of himself and Kim Kardashian, despite a tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this rumor, which began in OK!, an outlet that has repeatedly published false stories about the couple for years, including an absurd and mean-spirited report last July claiming West “inspects” Kardashian’s body for “imperfections” once a week.
OK! now says West was “so inspired” by Kardashian’s much-discussed nude shoot for Paper magazine, he’s commissioned a “gallery-worthy” portrait of himself and the reality TV star “lying naked in a loving embrace.” The tabloid claims the couple intends to hang the completed painting in their bedroom, but want their friends to see it. “There’s going to be a big reveal party once it’s done,” an OK! source explains.
This is an example of a clueless tabloid fabricating something sensational to exploit an actual news story. Yes, Kardashian posed nude for Paper. Yes, West has frequently commented on how beautiful he finds her body. But that’s where the truth ends. He and she are NOT commissioning an elaborate joint nude portrait for their family and friends to stare at. West’s rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the story is “ridiculously false.”
