Blake Lively is not “butting heads” with Ryan Reynolds’ mom Tammy, despite a new report that claims Lively’s mother-in-law has “never taken” to the actress because of her success. Gossip Cop can bust this nonsense, which originated in OK!, a magazine that has a long history of publishing bogus stories about Lively, Reynolds and their relationship.
According to OK!, Tammy has never seen Lively as “mommy material” because she thinks her son “should be having a baby with someone who doesn’t have a career.” The tabloid says Reynolds’ “opinionated” mom has ruined “more than one” of his relationships, and Tammy’s “disapproval” is causing Lively unnecessary stress during her pregnancy. “Now that Blake is pregnant, it’s almost like Tammy feels threatened instead of excited,” a so-called “source” tells the magazine. OK! goes on to allege that Lively, who lives in upstate New York with Reynolds, is saying she will move back to Los Angeles “if Tammy doesn’t back off.”
Besides OK!’s ridiculous assertion that Tammy disapproves of Lively’s career, the outlet doesn’t even bother to give a plausible explanation as to why the two are allegedly not getting along. Of course, OK! is the same outlet that once falsely alleged Reynolds is “very possessive” of Lively and later fabricated a cover story about her back in 2013 being pregnant. Regardless, a rep says this latest tale is completely untrue, noting that Lively and Tammy are “very close.”
