Taylor Swift kicked off the 2014 American Music Awards with a rousing performance of her latest hit, "Blank Space."
The 24-year-old superstar recreated her complicated music video for the performance.
Tay began the piece sitting across from a sexy date at a large, formal dining table suspended in the air. The couple was surrounded by a giant picture frame, which disappeared as Taylor and her stage date were lowered to the stage.

The performance contained plenty of CrayTay moments (similar to the video), including a rose on fire, a poison apple, and a push that sent one of her backup dancers flying backward violently, with the help of wires.
At the end of the song, Taylor opened a red door, which revealed another unsuspecting suitor, carrying a bouquet of red roses.
