Tori Spelling has been in the hospital since Saturday, and the “True Tori” star is now saying that the scary experience has made her rethink her life and the people in it.

Spelling was initially admitted to the hospital with flu-like symptoms and even quarantined over the weekend. On Thursday, her husband Dean McDermott confirmed to “ET Canada” that Spelling is suffering from severe bronchitis, sinusitus, and pneumonia, but said that Spelling is getting great care.

The actress then shared a photo of herself in her hospital bed and gown on Instagram (see right and below), captioning the picture with a cryptic and reflective message. In the image, Spelling has her hands on her heart and is seemingly hooked up to an IV. She wrote, “This sick in hospital I finally see how quickly life can take it all away frm you. We all need 2 step up frm inside& go 4 it! W/our friends by our side. Sadly I’ve finally faced truth that 1 person will never be there 4 me #TrueTori.

Although Spelling does not specify the identity of the “1 person,” many have speculated that she is referring to McDermott. “True Tori,” which recently began airing its second season, has depicted Spelling’s marital struggles with McDermott in the aftermath of his affair last year. The couple was in the process of filming the new season when Spelling became sick. McDermott even suggested to “ET Canada” that the strenuous shooting schedule might be behind Spelling’s illnesses.

Spelling has had a number of health scares over the years, including a hospitalization for severe migraines, an ordeal that was documented in the first season of “True Tori.” She also experienced life-threatening complications when giving birth to son Finn in 2012.
